2024

We were excited to celebrate twenty years at Lilliardsedge in April 2023. The park, now at 110 acres is a second home to over 350 holiday homeowners and welcomes tens of thousands of guests each year. On top of this – the park now includes one of the best entertainment venues in Borders and offers arguably the best Sunday Carvery around within the recently refurbished bar & restaurant. We continue to offer one of Scotland’s finest holiday destinations, and continue to welcome new owners and guests every week. Our nine hole, eighteen tee golf course has continued to evolve throughout the last twenty five years and includes some of the best greens around. As the park grows, so does our family and wonderful team who continue to be the face of Lilliardsedge, helping you to stay, play, relax and unwind on every visit. Here’s to the next twenty years!

2003

In 2003, the Border Caravans family purchased the 100-acre park from Lord Ancrum, which at the time comprised of less than one hundred static caravans, and the golf course recently completed in 2001. Over the years and under the park’s new ownership, changes were made including the move from seven months opening to eleven months opening, eventually moving to twelve months opening paving the way to current customers enjoying Lilliardsedge through all four seasons. Several new areas have since been created on park including the new Golf View area, Wood Close, The Green, Cheviot View, The Crescent and most recently North Wood, plus a brand new 38 pitch touring park and ten acres of camping and events space. The park also boasts a versatile hire fleet including some of the finest hot tub lodges and pods.

1972

Incorporated in 1972 and Originally owned by Lord Ancrum and operated as part of the Lothian Estates portfolio, Lilliardsedge has been loved by families enjoying home from home holidays spanning across the last six decades. The park was host to only a handful of static caravans, with most of the holiday makers pulling up in 1960’s touring caravans to make use of the grass pitches and A-frame toilet blocks. The Tavern Bar played host to regular music events including ceilidhs – on of the most popular memories to this day of holiday makers and locals alike. A garden centre including polly tunnels and a petrol station were also on offer – with the old petrol tanks, petroleum pipes and emergency switch still visible today.
